Abstract:

A list of 48 species of the genus Agromyza FALLÉN, 1810 (Agromyzidae) occurring on the territory of Russia and adjacent countries together with localities and collection data is given. The first faunistic records from 7 European and 13 Asian countries in the Palaearctic Region are presented. All the species were determined by V. V. ZLOBIN (1953–2008) and are kept in the collections of the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg, Russia. A new synonym of Agromyza viciae KALTENBACH, 1872 [= Agromyza quadriseta ZLOBIN, 2001 syn. nov.] is established, as well a new synonym of A. drepanura (MAMONOV, 1929) comb. nov. [= Agromyza drepanura HERING, 1930 syn. nov.]. All synonyms and known host plant genera are given for each taxon. A distribution table of the listed species of Agromyza in European countries is given, adding 232 first country and realm records to the “Fauna Europaea” that were either published but hitherto overlooked or are here documented for the first time. Data for the European part of Russia are organised following the five regions proposed in “Fauna Europaea”.
